The U17 Chicago Raiders FC team features some of the most talented 2000 and 2001 players in the Chicago region. The team is a direct outgrowth of the premier community club, San Antonio FC, in the Chicago market.
These players have training and playing with one another since the U6 and U7 level. Each player is passionate about the game, and embrace the integrity and sportsmanship embodied in first class football.
Over the past few years, this team has consistently ranked among the best in the nation. At the U15 level, the team won every game in the US Youth Soccer’s National League, qualifying for the national tournament in Frisco, Texas. In Texas, the side won four straight before losing on penalty kicks in the championship game.
This team is currently #1 ranked U17 team in the Chicago region, Illinois, and the nation.
The team is coached by Salvador Valencia and Juan Espinoza.
